On Monday, April 5th I shipped Awakening to 10 Film Festivals. Eight here in the USA, two in the UK. The Cambridge Film Festival (UK), The New York International Short Film Festival, The San Francisco Independent Film Festival, The Indie Memphis Film Festival, The Miami Short Film Festival, and The Palm Spring International Film Festival, have sent me confirmation they have Awakening in consideration! RAILI MUNSON CHOSEN FOR THE LEAD ROLE OF FRANCESCA.

Born and raised in Lakeside, CT. Raili Munson Moved to NYC 2 1/2 years ago - Studying with Bruce Ornstein- Acting Workshop. Her talent is as rare as it is unique and we at Awakening believes the film industry will soon recognize her for her unquestionable
subtle range, sensibility and star quality. We are very fortunate to have her with us!

RYAN VIGILANT FOR THE LEAD ROLE OF PAOLO.

Ryan Vigilant grew up in Westford, MA. He moved to New York in 2005 to work as a professional model. Success was immediate and lasting but soon enough Ryan discovered his love for acting. Untiring he has been a model student of the Stella Adler method and the Meisner Technique. Ryan is now a consummate pro and his depth and grasp of nuances coupled with an excellent deep tonal range bring a strength to the characters he plays only matched by the greatest performers. Expect Ryan to rise to the top of his profession. It is with genuine gratitude we welcome Ryan to Awakening.

SOPHIE MEISTER FOR THE ROLE OF SILVER.

Born in Freital, Saxony, East Germany, Sophie Meister after graduating from high school was hired by Vogue Italia, and has excelled as model ever since. With extensive training at the Theater Studio in Berlin first and soon after at the Lee Strasberg Theater and the Film Institute in New York, Sophie is a most talented actress with a broad emotional gamut and an unpredictable interpretative capacity. We at Awakening are enriched by her talent and welcome her wholeheartedly.

Dorothy Miller Art Director

Dorothy Miller has lived in New York City since 1987 where she studied architecture. She is also a graphic designer, digital artist and fine art nature photographer. Currently she is working on a second exhibition of her fine art photography. She has lived in Paris, London, Tokyo and Hong Kong working as a fashion model. At the moment she is contributing her impeccable design sensibility to Awakening.

DP Lance Kaplan to shoot, Awakening

We are proud to announce that Lance Kaplan will be the DP for Awakening. Lance is gifted with a most remarkable talent and we are very excited to have him working with us. Lance will be shooting Awakening using the RED One Camera, a cinema camera at the cutting edge of modern filmmaking.

DIANA IRIS BALTAZAR FASHION STYLIST

We are glad to have with us Diana Baltazar, she is truly a renascence woman, her interests span the gamut from the Arts to Comparative religion both of which she studied at Brown University. She is also a Photographer as well as creative Fashion Designer, her sensibilities are woven with a subtle aesthetic vision which enrich the color and formal palette of Awakening admirably.

Born in New York City and raised in a small quaint town outside of it, Kayla Jo is a seasoned veteran of television and film. She's in the business of making people look glamorously good, she's a pro! 'Awakening' is very excited to have someone of her exceptional talent, skill and experience on the crew.

We are proud to announce that the editor extraordinare, Elrey Sotto has agreed to edit 'Awakening'. A profoundly private man Elrey is one of the most talented underground editors of his generation. The one time first assistant to Cecile Decugis (Eric Rohmer's long time editor) Elrey has assisted and edited countless films, foregoing fame for the intimacy of anonimyty.
